Orkestra Shkodra celebrates both the rich heritage of Shkodra in Northern Albania and the artistic soul of a city where everyone sings. It is a collection from the extensive repertoire of urban popular and ceremonial wedding songs known locally as “Aheng”. These songs are well-known and well-loved both in Shkodra and the rest of Albania, ​and provide a fresh narrative about Albania, one of joy, fun, and celebration. Check them out at Cloud Fest.
