When art becomes a bridge between cultures and cities turn into open stages of creativity, festivals that inspire, connect, and transform are born. Cloud Fest, now in its ninth edition, brings together artists from all over the world to Tirana. Like every year, Cloud Fest promises a rich multicultural blend, where contemporary art meets tradition. REJA and the surrounding park will host physical theater, audio-visual experiences, concerts, performances, artist talks, dance workshops, and urban games. REJA — itself a piece of art rather than a conventional venue — always brings surprises and new experiences for both the public and the artists.

Cloud Fest: Blending the Contemporary with the Traditional, Albanian with Global

For 10 consecutive nights, we will take a cultural journey to nearby and faraway lands — from Albania and the Balkans to countries touching the Caspian Sea, the Caucasus Mountains, the Atlantic Ocean, the Mediterranean, the Pacific Ocean, the Caribbean, Scandinavia, and Canada. Over 100 artists from Azerbaijan, Mexico, Morocco, Greece, Turkey, Italy, France, and more will gather in Tirana to present contemporary dance, performance art, music, poetry, talks, workshops, and festive shows featuring ensembles, orchestras, choirs, and DJs.

Now a tradition for the city, Cloud Fest is not just a cultural event — it is a unique and tangible experience that transforms Tirana into an international stage of art and cultural dialogue. From May 21st to May 31st, 2025, the “Cloud” installation will become a cultural epicenter, a gathering point for the Tirana community and international visitors. Every night, both casual passersby and loyal festivalgoers will meet to enjoy entertainment and discover cultural experiences, both familiar, like traditional Albanian music, and new, through encounters with different genres and artistic cultures that enrich the artistic taste year after year.

A Meeting Place Under the Cloud

The year 2025 marks an important milestone for Tirana, which, together with Alexandria, Egypt, will hold the title of “Mediterranean Capital of Culture and Dialogue.” In this context, Cloud Fest will serve as a meeting point for artists from across the Mediterranean region and beyond.
This cultural gathering will be a celebration, but also an opportunity to share stories, traditions, and creative energy.
